In a video interview on ABK Radio Mimie spoke about her support to Kameni and her refusal for a collaboration.
The Universal Music Artist was a guest at “Comme à la Maison” on ABK Radio. When she was asked by the presenter if she hasn’t done any Collabo with any female artist she replied
” No, not at all. I had gone to Kameni… honestly, her reaction shocked me. She’s someone I really appreciate and whose talent I respect. But her reaction shocked me. I had plans to release my album last year and doing a Collabo with Kameni will be awesome. I went to her manager Vera, who asked me to pay. And I told her it’s okay, I don’t want to anymore.
Despite that, I went to support her at the presentation of her debut EP and while we were taking the pictures, I told her that we have to work on a song and she replied: “no, no, see talk with my manager “
