N.A.T is a young Cameroonian singer, songwriter and producer, who hails from the North West Region. Growing up, music has always been a huge passion of his, although he only decided to take his art to the professional stage in 2008. He has since worked with, written and co-written with and for quite a good number of artists both in and out of the country.
In 2009, he released his first-ever single, “Get Down“. In 2012 he met record producer, Rolex King, in Yaoundé and started working on an album project which, due to urgent health issues on the part of N.A.T, ended up not getting released as he had to go follow intensive treatment back home in Bamenda. After having fully recovered, in 2014, he returned to Yaoundé where he resumed work on his career, this time with Nala Conception, which bore fruit a year later, in 2015, when he released the visuals for his single, “Red Feather“. A year after that, in 2016, he spent a huge part of that year travelling between Bamenda and Douala where he performed on quite a good number of shows/events.
In 2017, Conception Music Inc. was created and N.A.T got signed as one of the label’s acts, and the following year, in March 2018, he released “Sharap“. Later that same year, in August 2018, Conception Music Inc. released the visuals for his next single titled “Tum Ngare”. His third single under the said record label, “Alleluia“, was released on October 12th, 2018. In December 2018 he featured in yet another Conception Music single titled “Tu Dis Même Quoi” alongside label mates, Lyma and Stella.
2019 kicked off with the release of the single “Malembe (Follow Me)” in January. He then spent the next few months performing at various shows across the country before releasing his next single “One Man Choir” in July. That was followed by the release of his first studio project, “Heart & Soul” [EP], in August.
August 2020 saw N.A.T release visuals for two tracks off the “Heart & Soul” EP, “Lovebirds” and “Wedding Song“. On December 5th, 2020, N.A.T released visuals for the song “PAYS”, a single off his album set to be released this December.
There is, thus, no doubt N.A.T is definitely one artist Cameroon and the entire world ought to be on the alert for!
