The AGAPE Center for orphans and street children is organizing a Trade fair exhibition on the 4th and 5th of May 2018 at Camp ASCENA Bonapriso, under the theme ‘Home for the Homeless”. The purpose of this trade fair is to raise funds for the center to enable it to build a bigger structure to accommodate more children and cater to the ever-increasing needs of these children. The non-profit organization which was created in 2013 by Madam Adama Traore Wega in partnership with sponsors and donors provides housing facilities, education, basic needs, healthcare and other services to the street and underprivileged children, ranging from 5 to 18 years old.
The center has as objective to provide children with their basic human rights in spite of their circumstances. It is a common phenomenon to find children exposed to the dangers of living in the streets or life after both parents pass away like drug abuse, sexual abuse, armed robbery amongst other ills. Agape is a safe haven for the underprivileged children since its creation and works towards increasing their quality of life.
Through tombola and stand ticket sales, the trade fair exhibition is a combination of human effort to make the world a better place for everyone. The Trade event will also provide an opportunity for companies to sell their products once they pay for an exhibition stand. The event will feature games, Artwork display, Yard Sales, Tombola, and Refreshments.
Exhibition Stands costs 10,000XAF/day and 20,000XAF for two days. Entry tickets to the Trade fair cost 2000frs and 1000frs to play any game available at the event. All funds raised from this event will help AGAPE build a bigger, better, safer and more comfortable home for the homeless.The AGAPE Foundation, therefore, invites companies, parents, children, well-wishers to come and support their cause while having fun. Cash or Kind donations are welcomed during the event.
