The social media has recently been buzzing following rumors that Ned Nwoko, popular Nigerian billionaire and husband to Nollywood star, Regina Daniels, is planning to take a seventh wife.
In a video that is currently serving rounds on social media, a blogger called Ada Nanka is heard narrating how Regina’s mother, Rita Daniels has been threatening another Nollywood actress, Chika Ike to either leave her daughter’s husband or face the untold consequences of continuing an affair with her son-in-law, Ned.
The video also alleges that Ned and Chika have been in a relationship for several years. Ned met Chika way back before he met Regina and they started a romantic relationship. Ned who already had 5 wives at the time asked Chika to be his 6th wife but she turned down the proposal. According to the video still, Chika is now ready to settle down with Ned as his 7th wife but Regina’s mother has vowed not to see that happen.
However, Chika Ike and Rita Daniels have both debunked the rumors as completely false.
Chika Ike reacted to the story when a fan commented on a photo she shared on Instagram this Monday. The fan wanted to know if Chika is dating Ned Nwoko as it has been alleged. Chika Ike in a reply on her insta story refuted the allegation, noting that she is not ready to be a 7th wife.
Rita Daniels has also refuted allegations that she has been threatening Chika Ike, adding that she can only commit those who have been judging her into the hands of God.
“May God equip us wit wisdom knowledge, understanding, and common sense of reasoning wit di way we judge pipo. Let God be my judge and judge those wey dey judge me wrongly,” Rita wrote.
59-year-old Ned Nwoko and 19-year-old Regina Daniels officially tied the knot in 2019. They welcomed their first baby a few months back. Aside from Regina and her child, the billionaire lawyer and businessman has 5 other wives and several children.
