The Balafon Music Awards is one of the most prestigious award ceremonies in Cameroon and it comes with a cash price. The award rewards and honours artiste and industry actors yearly for their contribution to the entertainment sector. This award came into existence in 2013 and was a private initiative of the CEO of Balafon Radio Cyrille Bojiko.
